When to Use Pet Stem Cell Therapy

Stem cells have found their way out of science into everyday uses for cats and dogs. Pet stem cells can be used when pets are not responding well to current therapies. Some of the conditions that can be treated in pets include:

The procedure uses an animal’s own fat to obtain adult stem cells. The stem cells are injected to damaged area to stimulate growth of healthy cells, thus encouraging regeneration.

  • canine immune mediated poly-arthritis
  • tendon and ligament injuries
  • surgical repair of joints and ligaments
