Humans are given ceremonies as signs of respect when they die. Pets deserve the same recognition. A loyal companion such as a dog or a cat should be buried in one of quality pet caskets. In some cases these animals have been part of your family for many years. Return the love and loyalty they offered you throughout their lives by offering them a dignified burial.
Commemorating your pet’s life will also give you a sense of relief and closure. Accomplish this by holding a burial service and allotting a space that is dedicated to your memories of him. Invite friends and family who also loved your pet. Encourage them to share a positive memory to express the love they also felt for your pet. Remember to dig a grave that is deep enough so that weather conditions and scavenging animals won’t be able to unearth the coffin.
