When my sons asked me if they can get their own pet dogs, I was really hesitant about the whole idea. I am really busy and have my hands full with all the chores that I have to manage. I would also not want these creatures to go around destroying the investments we have purchased in our home ending up with scratches and all sorts of damage. Most importantly, I would not want to end up with a smelly home.
This is why my husband and I decided to make sure that we can provide our sons’ requests without compromising the look of the home. I told them that I would accept provided these pets live in dog houses outside the home. This way I can keep the home intact and clean while allowing my sons to get their very own pets they have always wanted.
