What Makes a Designer Dog House Special?

Dog houses are supposed to provide cover for dogs. A shed over a fenced area will classify as a dog house. But dog owners are not content with that anymore. They like their dog houses to be built of materials that insulate and keep pestering insects away. They like it well ventilated. They want their pets to be comfortable and safe in their houses.
Some dog owners go overboard by choosing designer dog houses. They give their dogs houses whose designs are replete with details that duplicate real houses. Take this brick estate dog house that reminds of graceful southern living. It has red brick walls, a porch with white columns and paned windows. Who lives here? Lucky Fido, who I can imagine will be happier sharing a shed with friends.
