Crates can be very traumatic for dogs, most especially during air-transport. The sounds and cargo-cabin pressure inside an airplane can be felt by dogs thus they are easily irritated. So it is important to take into consideration the comfort of your pet when traveling by air. This is to ensure that your dog won’t be stressed or fall ill out during long flights.
A portable dog crate can be very convenient for both dogs and their owners. These crates are made in either plastic or metal and can be folded for easy storage when not in use. Plastic crates though have less vibration compared to metal ones. The former better buffers the sounds made by airplane engines.
