People love pets. Unfortunately, most people hate the smell of dirty pets or their byproduct. These smells will linger in your house. Have you ever entered a house and know instantly that they have a pet dog or a pet cat inside? Most cat owners are at a loss on how to get rid of cat odor.

Good thing for me I came across a book on how to get rid of cat odor using common household products. The best one for me is to use vinegar. Vinegar is an antacid and cat urine is acid. Using a mixture of white vinegar and water can take out the smells of cat urine even on wooden floors and carpets. If there is still a little bit of a smell, you can add baking soda.
