Convert your parrot to a good food diet. Begin with four dishes in the cage:
~Pellets of choice
~A high quality parrot seed mix
~Water
~Fresh food mix
The fresh food mix should be ratio of 50% high quality seed mix and 50% fresh layered mix. Serve all four twice a day, in the morning and in late afternoon or evening. You will create a pattern of feeding and allow your bird to get used to looking at the fresh food mix. When your pet starts exploring the fresh food mix, give the seed mix once a day. When the parrot start eating the fresh food mix, you can eliminate the seed mix completely.
